September 2022

It's been a historically momentous week in the UK.
All at the Guild are saddened by the death of our Queen Elizabeth, monarch, majesty and above all, a human being; a Wife & Mother, Granny & Great Granny, trying to do a good job, albeit a rather special and very public one, for 70 years.
Our deepest sympathy to the family for their loss.

There are thousands of pictures of the Queen smiling & laughing and she was known to have a good sense of humour and fun, this is a favourite.
And who can forget the 2012 Olympics' opening, or tea with Paddington Bear.

On Monday 19th, we have a Bank Holiday so that people can, if they wish, watch Elizabeth's State Funeral, her last public duty, before we move on.

We look forward to the reign of King Charles 111, who has promised to serve us as his Mother did, and I'm sure he, too, will give his all.
And to other members of the family now stepping into new positions.

The show must go on.

Malvern Autumn is just 10 days away and we are looking forward to three fabulous days, Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th September.
We'll be spending a couple of days prior to that, at the showground getting ready to welcome you and have all been preparing at our studios or workshops for weeks if not months.

Creatures of habit, you will find us, as always, in the big sheds (NW corner of the showground) with the Guilds of Crafts, grid ref C13 on the new map - click it to open as downloadable pdf.

If you haven't yet got tickets then pop along to the ticket factory. You can also pay at the gate! And lots more information about the show and how to plan your day is on the official show page.

So who is joining us?
Here's a taster of what you might see.
