Marie-Therese has had a passion for batik for over 15 years.  Specialising in detailed works inspired by British flora, fauna and wildlife, the complex layering of melted wax and dyes on cotton provides the perfect medium.

Marie-Therese specialises in the ancient Indonesian artform, batik. Her passion for wild flowers, birds and insects are the theme she translates onto cotton, mastering this wax resist technique and making it her own. She works to commission and sells prints of her work online.
