Simon Conolly - sculpture
Simon is a sculptor, and an elected member of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists (RBSA) and of the Royal Society of Marine Artists (RSMA). He works from his studio in South Shropshire, overlooking Wenlock Edge.
He is interested in the interactions between people in groups. The beauty, wit and emotion in ordinary people doing ordinary things. He is also interested in pattern and movement in the natural world. Flocks of birds and shoals of fish.
Simon designs and creates sculptures for indoors and outdoors in frost resistant stoneware clay, in iron resin and in foundry cast bronze.
