My name is Tanith Rouse and I’m from Hereford. I make jewellery from anodised aluminium which I hand dye myself; adding patterns and prints to the metal and sealing the dye in to the surface of the aluminium so that the colour is permanent. I cut out the shapes of my jewellery using a traditional jeweller’s saw and often dome the aluminium as this gives it a nice sheen which picks up the light.
I trained at the Birmingham School of Jewellery achieving a BA (Hons) in Silversmithing and Jewellery.
I sell online and at Craft Fairs and Arts Markets in the midlands region.
